My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

File #24-164Current Foster Location: Renfrew, ON *Please note that we do not typically adopt outside of a 2 hour radius from the foster dogs current location* Hey, Im Pixie. I'm being fostered with my sister, Missy. Our daily motto is simple: wake up, cuddle, pee, poop, eat, play, nap, and repeat. Its a flawless routine, really. So, heres the scoop: While Missy and I are super close, we actually need to be adopted out separately. Why, you ask? Well, it's to avoid something called "littermate syndrome," which can happen when siblings are too attached and dont grow as independent pups. But dont worry, were still both total sweethearts! Since I'm so used to having my sister around, I'd do best in a home with another dog. I thrive with a buddy by my side to play with, cuddle up to, and just keep me company. I need someone whos not only patient enough to help me with training but also strong enough to resist my adorable tricks. I'm still learning the ropes, and its super important that my future family sticks to the rulesbecause if you fall for my cute face every time, Ill totally take advantage! With the right guidance, I'll grow into a well-behaved, loving dog who still knows how to work those eyes when its playtime.
