Meet Emma Lou, she loves spending time in the backyard, especially watching squirrels, but she’s just as happy lounging on the couch with her humans. She’s a smart, observant pup who is fascinated by the world around her.

Emma Lou adores people and is good with other dogs, though she may need a little time to get comfortable in a new environment. Once she feels safe, she’s incredibly loving and loyal. After completing a successful 3.5-month heartworm treatment, Emma Lou is now healthy, heartworm free, and ready for her next adventure.

If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who will reward your patience with unconditional love, Emma Lou would make the perfect addition to your family!

We offer a Foster program for those who would like to provide a temporary home to one in need.

All older puppies (6 mos or more) and adults are fully vetted prior to adoption.

Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue is a NO KILL animal rescue dedicated to providing shelter and loving care (which includes food, veterinary care and any other necessity) for animals that were abused, abandoned, owner surrendered, or destined to be euthanized due to over-crowded shelter conditions. Through the use of foster homes, Proverbs will care for these animals until such time as a good, responsible, loving home can be found for all adoptable animals.
