My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Simon is the most lovable little dude you'll ever meet. Fully grown at only 7 pounds, he is the perfect petite package of love and playfulness. Simon was born in foster care and was diagnosed as a kitten with having an enlarged heart. The enlarged heart means that he will stay petite for his whole life, likely not growing much bigger than he is now. It will also likely mean he will have a shorter life than most kitties, but we promise you quality is better than quantity and the love he brings to his people is more than anyone could ask for in a whole lifetime. Now a year and a half old, he acts like any other normal cat and you would never know from looking at him that he has a heart condition. He is strong, loves to play, climb his kitty condo, snuggle on his soft blanket and most of all loves anything that involves a string. He does the best orientations for all the new foster kitties who join his home. He does best in calmer environments but would love having another kitty friend around. He is a really special kitty who deserves an equally special home. Please open your heart up to Simon and his enlarged heart to give him a forever family to call his very own.

Additional adoption info

We understand the One Love application process may seem tedious, but, most One Love animals have been rescued from traumatic situations or have faced severe health issues. All of them have needed much love and attention from the One Love team to get them where they are today, ready for adoption! They have all been cared for in our foster homes where our team of volunteers works one on one with each animal to ensure they become happy, healthy and comfortable. We care very much for each and every animal that comes through our doors and we do everything we can to make sure they find homes that are the best possible match for their unique personalities.
