Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bat is a sweet, handsome young cat who can't wait to meet his new family. Bat can be shy and nervous in new situations, but if you comfort him with a few back rubs and cheek scratches he will warm up quick and give you some big purrs. He is a total lap cat and even enjoys being held when hes in a cuddly mood, which is often! When he wants attention, Bat will follow you around, chirping politely. Bat would love a home where he can snuggle up on the couch for a movie night with his human family and his brother, Bug. He is not a big fan of loud noises and constant action, so he would enjoy a quieter home.

Bat is best buds with his brother, Bug. The two of them have been together their whole lives, and are looking forward to finding their new family together.

Bat's adoption fee has been paid for by a kind donor. If you adopt a cat, consider making a donation to pay it forward for a future adopter.

Staff will contact you for a meet and greet if the application is a good fit.

Additional adoption info

CCHS has animals available for adoption through a number of different avenues. Many of our kittens and all dogs are cared for in loving foster homes until they are adopted. Teenage, adult, senior and special-needs cats reside at Kitty Corner, an on-site, private cat shelter where cats are allowed to free-roam at all times, lounge in sunny windows and on comfy cat towers, and play to their heart's galore. Similarly, we also have animals available for adoption through our Re-Homing Assistance Program, where we help to advertise animals that caregivers are no longer able to keep.

If you are interested in meeting any of the animals listed on our website, please complete an adoption application unless otherwise noted!

Adoption fees are:
Kittens under 6mo: $130 ($200 for two)
Cats over 6mo: $90 ($150 for two)
Puppies under 6mo: $225
Dogs over 6mo: $175

Our business office and Kitty Corner are located at 3341 Vincent Road.

Kitty Corner houses adult, senior, and special-needs cats (sometimes teenage kittens). Kitty Corner is open for adoptions by appointment only with an approved application. Please submit an application for a cat you are interested in at www.cchumane.org/adoptable-cats.

All of our dogs, puppies and some kittens are located off-site in foster homes and can be met by appointment once adoption applications have been received and approved.
