Meet Dennis!!

He is snuggly little guy who has the cutest wiggle butt when he’s excited. He loves his humans and is an expert cuddler. His foster mom calls him her shadow because he has a bit of FOMO. Dennis is crate trained and house trained. He is super food motivated and a quick learner!

He is medium energy but is a busy inquisitive guy. He does well on a leash and loves walks. He enjoys running around his fenced in yard and playing tug with his foster brothers. His favorite toys are ones with squeakers and benebones. Once he gets his sillies out Dennis prefers to sunbathe, snuggle or chew his favorite bone.

Dennis lives in a home with other dogs and coexists well with them. He loves to play chase and snuggle with his four legged foster brothers. His bestie is a 70lb husky mix!

Dennis was born with a condition that caused his esophagus to be too small for him to eat normally. He had surgery in June and is doing amazing. He is expected to live normal healthy life. He takes two medications daily to help carry the food down into his stomach, both are inexpensive. He’ll need to be on these for life. (metoclopramide and omeprazole)

Dennis is an amazing sweet puppy who deserves a home that will shower him with the endless cuddles he demands. If that’s you please apply!!

Our comprehensive adoption process includes a pre-adoption application, background checks (including vet check), home visit and adoption contract. You must be 21 or over to adopt from us. Unfortunately we are unable to adopt our Pitties or Pitty mixes to adopters living in Prince George's County, MD, due to the BSL in place there. Please remember to check your home owners policy to make sure that your insurance company will cover you for bully breeds.

Our adoption fee is based on the age and health of the animal.

Pitties and Purrs is a small 501c3, foster-based rescue in Baltimore, MD. Our rescue dogs come from all over the country in order to be rehabilitated and to ultimately find their forever homes.
