Meet Dennis.

An itty bittie pittie who has to be one of snuggliest little guys around. Being held and cuddling are his favorite. He has the cutest wiggle butt greeting when his people come home or he sees them first thing in the morning. Dennis is crate trained and sleeps silently all night. He is working on perfecting house training.

Dennis is medium energy and gets the most adorable bouncy zoomies atleast once a day.
He enjoys a nice walk or romp around the yard. Once he gets his sillies out Dennis prefers to sunbathe or chew his favorite bone. He does have FOMO and enjoys being his foster mom’s shadow.

Dennis has a big personality and prefers to be the one in charge. He lives in a home with other dogs who are used to a revolving door of fosters. He loves to play chase and snuggle with them. His bestie is a 70lb husky mix foster brother.

Dennis was born with a condition that caused his esophagus to be too small for him to eat normally. He had surgery in June and is doing amazing. He is expected to live healthy life. He takes two medications daily to help carry the food down into his stomach, both are inexpensive. He’ll need to be on these for life.

Dennis is an amazing sweet puppy who deserves a home that will shower him with the endless cuddles he demands. If that’s you please apply!!

Our comprehensive adoption process includes a pre-adoption application, background checks (including vet check), home visit and adoption contract. You must be 21 or over to adopt from us. Unfortunately we are unable to adopt our Pitties or Pitty mixes to adopters living in Prince George's County, MD, due to the BSL in place there. Please remember to check your home owners policy to make sure that your insurance company will cover you for bully breeds.

Our adoption fee is based on the age and health of the animal.

Pitties and Purrs is a small 501c3, foster-based rescue in Baltimore, MD. Our rescue dogs come from all over the country in order to be rehabilitated and to ultimately find their forever homes.
