My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is a courtesy post. Please do not contact Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue for information. Contact information is provided below.

Hi! We are Cora and Sage! We are looking for a new home or someone to foster-to-adopt us.

We are half sisters. Cora is 2-1/2 years old and Sage is 2 years old. We are spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, crate trained, house trained, and leash trained. We're also good with kids, other dogs, and farm animals. We know basic commands, love car rides, and a good routine. We enjoy both farm and office life. We like cats, but we get excited and want to play with them, which they sometimes don't like!

Additional adoption info

Everyone that adopts must first fill out an application and get approved by our adoption team. We allow people to meet our animals to make sure it is the right fit along with letting their animals meet our animals as well as long as that animal meets the vetting criteria.

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit and no-kill shelter in Rutherford North Carolina. We pull animals from animal control and take in animals from the community. We make sure everyone is healthy, up to date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and put on something for fleas, ticks and heartworm prevention. We then place them up for adoption making sure they go into great homes.
