For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Hi! My name is Lulu and I am available for adoption.
I was brought into the shelter on Aug. 15th. when I was found running around on my own. I was adopted and brought back after a couple months since I did not do well with the other dog in the home.
My previous adopters said I do well playing with other dogs but sometimes I don`t like to listen when the other dog tells me they are done playing.
When I first came into the shelter I was very scared of everything and everyone. Once I started to warm up and figure out that the people here were actually very nice I started to give butt wiggles and play bows.
I weigh 40 lbs and am considered a `medium breed` dog.
I am a very smart dog! At the shelter I am practicing how to `sit`, `down` and `shake`.
I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy. Cattle dogs love to go, go, go. We love it when we have jobs to do like herding, diving, agility training, or even Therapy training. Cattle dogs make for some great Therapy dogs. There`s so many other cool jobs that I could do with you as well!!
Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a quiet, adult only home.
I am an adaptable dog who loves to go with the flow! I am outgoing and carefree, and I just can`t wait to find my forever home!
