My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Calypso is secretly the sweetest, snuggliest cat that's ever lived, but she's not ready to fully admit to it yet. It's clear that she hasn't had many opportunities to experience the finer things in life--treats, toys, affection--but she's cautiously dipping her toes in and finding that she really loves all of them.

She's not quite ready to approach you for pets, but if you offer she almost always accepts. She's at her happiest when playtime flows into snuggle time and lets you know by purring loud and proud while rubbing her face against you. She does still have moments where she gets overwhelmed and will retreat to the comfort and safety of her cat tree, but she's bouncing back from these scares faster and faster every day.

She would do best as the only pet in a quiet, adult-only home.

Calypso is 6 years old and is being fostered in Brighton, MA.
