My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Finley is an easy-going girl who loves her people, her sister Maisie, and any toy ever created. And this little girl is one smart cookie! First in her litter to do everything: open her eyes, use the litter box, get weaned from the bottle and so on.

One endearing quirk about Finley... when you first put food down for her, she hangs back politely until you show her which dish she should eat from. Similarly, she'll go right up to the open front door, but doesn't attempt to get out. Let's hope that continues!

Finley and Maisie are a bonded pair who should be adopted together. They were born on July 1, 2024 and they have both been remarkably healthy and are good eaters who are perfect with the litter box. They will be a wonderful addition to one lucky household.

Additional adoption info

CCHS has animals available for adoption through a number of different avenues. Many of our kittens and all dogs are cared for in loving foster homes until they are adopted. Teenage, adult, senior and special-needs cats reside at Kitty Corner, an on-site, private cat shelter where cats are allowed to free-roam at all times, lounge in sunny windows and on comfy cat towers, and play to their heart's galore. Similarly, we also have animals available for adoption through our Re-Homing Assistance Program, where we help to advertise animals that caregivers are no longer able to keep.

If you are interested in meeting any of the animals listed on our website, please complete an adoption application unless otherwise noted!

Adoption fees are:
Kittens under 6mo: $130 ($200 for two)
Cats over 6mo: $90 ($150 for two)
Puppies under 6mo: $225
Dogs over 6mo: $175

Go meet their pets

Our business office and Kitty Corner are located at 3341 Vincent Road.

Kitty Corner houses adult, senior, and special-needs cats (sometimes teenage kittens). Kitty Corner is open for adoptions by appointment only with an approved application. Please submit an application for a cat you are interested in at www.cchumane.org/adoptable-cats.

All of our dogs, puppies and some kittens are located off-site in foster homes and can be met by appointment once adoption applications have been received and approved.
