My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Grab your tissues.

On June 3, Cedar was found on the side of the road presumably hit by a car. Injuries did not support that as we found puncture holes all over her back and hips indicating a dog attack.

Cedar could not move his hind legs. He had breaks in his spine that the neurologists at OSU felt were inoperative. 30 days of cage rest was recommended, but they prepared us that Cedar may never walk again.

The first week was hard on Cedar. He was painful, he wanted to move and he could not urinate without help. But slowly he healed and was able to urinate on his own. One day a squirrel got the best of him and he got himself across the yard in record time! Things got better from there! He may never walk better than what you see in this video, but hes fine with that! (Rescue can send you the video, but he just looks a little drunk)

Cedar is now available for adoption. Preferably a home with not many stairs or big dogs that could be too rough with him. He is approximately 15 pounds and about a year old.
