ADOPTION PROCESS

Before 2nd Chance Dog Rescue places a dog in his/her furever home, the potential adopter is required to fill out an Adoption Consultation Application. Once we have reviewed your application we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet and home check. 2nd Chance Dog Rescue will only adopt to families living in the Queen Creek, Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, San Tan Valley, and Phoenix area - as long as it is within 50 miles of our rescue (Queen Creek).

Polly is a shy but sweet girl. She was found as a stray after being attacked by another animal. She is believed to be approx 8 years old, and a terrier mix. Polly is in a foster home with other small animals and doing well. She is shy at first but becomes attached to her human. Polly would do best in a low key home where family is looking for a sweet, mellow girl as a life long companion. Polly isn't comfortable wtih a leash so if you are looking to take your dog on walks, Polly may not be a good fit. Due to Polly being shy and attached her to her foster mom, we would not place her into a new home without several introductions to make sure she is a good fit for your family. $195.00 puppies, adoption fee varies for our adult dogs. Potential adopters need to fill out our adoption consultation form and if they qualify, we will arrange a meet/greet then a home check. All of our dogs are S/N, vaccinated/micro-chipped

More about this rescue

2nd "Chance" saves dogs that otherwise would be left on the streets to fend for themselves or brought to the pound and most likely placed on the E-List. Our dogs are extremely loving and deserve a place to call home.
