My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Fava, a charming adult canine resident of our shelter. She`s a sweet soul, a little shy at first, but warms up quickly. Fava`s favorite pastime is snuggling up next to you, her soft snores a comforting presence. She`s an expert at turning ordinary moments into cherished memories with her gentle demeanor. Fava may be a bit reserved initially, but her love, once earned, is as steadfast as they come. She`s the perfect companion for those who appreciate the quieter, cuddly moments in life. Her adoption would mean a world filled with unconditional love and loyalty. Fava is waiting to bring joy to her forever home.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
