My name is Kerri!

Meet Kerri!

Kerri is a 5 year old, 18 lb Bichon. She is very shy and enjoys quiet activities with her human like reading or watching TV together.

Her superpowers include being extremely docile and gentle, getting along great with other dogs, and walking nicely around the neighborhood! She is still unsure about fast cars and loud noises, but loves hanging out with her human while she waits for meals, watching TV and reading books.

In terms of house training, Kerri is crate training and keeps her crate clean! She is starting to go potty on pee pads. She enjoys walking outside, but has not gone potty there yet. It has only been 4 days and she has made a lot of progress so we are optimistic that with time and patience, she will start to go potty outside! She loves to please and she loves to be rewarded for a good job!

Some of her favorite things are meatballs, eggs, chicken and turkey.

Kerri is currently being fostered in Staten Island, NY. Her adoption fee is $600.

Kerri is a Patron Pup. Patron Pups have higher adoption fees due to varying reasons and are adopted quickly, even with these higher adoption fees. They may be purebred, a highly desirable breed, small in size fully grown, etc. These fees allow them to act as patrons to other pets in our care who may not be as adoptable, or have ongoing costs for medical care, contributing to a longer time in rescue, and therefore a higher cost for us to care for them. Patron Pups allow us to continue rescuing these other animals and give them a better chance at finding their forever homes as well.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
