This adorable boy is Happy! True to his name, he is the happiest dog ever ?? The last few years have been rough for Happy- he was recently found living under the sink in a hoarder's house. After his owner passed away, he was lost and confused surrounded by clutter. Despite all of that, Happy is extremely sweet and absolutely LOVES people. He will rest his head on your shoulder and just wants to be loved! Happy gets along great with other dogs and kids! Please help this boy find his forever home ???? Happy is a Shepherd mix, weighs 36 pounds, and was born on 7/30/2019. Before adoption, he will be neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and flea/tick/heartworm preventative. The Bulverde Area Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Founded in 1983 by Dolores Caldwell, BAHS is a no-kill shelter caring for up to 400 dogs and cats annually. The shelter resides on 3.25 acres of park-like land and houses indoor/outdoor kennels, a cattery, nursery/medical recovery building, agility fields, and fenced-in play yards.
BAHS is powered by volunteers and overseen by a Board of Directors. Our volunteers ensure the dogs and cats get plenty of exercise, playtime, and unlimited cuddles, love, and affection.
