My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pavlov is a sweet pup that is looking for a loving foster home to relax in while he is recovering.

Reason for Foster: Upper Respiratory Infection (URI) & Canine Herpesvirus

Foster Time Frame: 5 days

Foster Care Plan: Pavlov is being treated for a URI which is similar to a common cold. He is likely contagious, so we recommend he is house separately from your personal pets until he fully recovers. He will go home with medication and will have a recheck appointment scheduled when his meds are completed and it is time for him to clear for adoption.
Pavlov is also Canine Herpesvirus positive. This is a virus that causes mild cold-like symptoms, but many dogs can have it without showing symptoms at all. CHV can be contagious to other dogs, so we recommend that he is separated from other dogs until he is no longer showing symptoms.

Foster to Adopt Program: Pavlov is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption.
