Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please visit leiashope.org for our adoption process.
Located in Decatur, IL
Eleanor is a happy and energetic young lady! She loves everyone she meets and greets them in her bulldog way by plowing into them, wiggling her whole body and jumping up.
Eleanor loves to play with toys and other dogs. She is good with kids but can get overly excited and may knock small children down. Eleanor is not the best car rider and is a bit all over the place and will even try to climb on your shoulders! So, if you are thinking of having her as your co-pilot she might do best with a doggy seatbelt.
Eleanor would best be suited with someone who can keep up with her energy and work on some obedience training. She is a delightful lady, and will for sure bring lots of laughter to a family.
Eleanor's adoption is $375. She is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, and on monthly heart worm prevention. Visit leiashope.org for next steps.
PLEASE NOTE: We are a volunteer ran rescue with full time jobs. Please allow 7-10 days for application processing.
All of our dogs are in foster homes and a meet and greet is done ONLY after an approved application.
We do adopt out of the area. However, we do not ship or provide transportation. You must come to the location of the dog to meet and adopt. NO EXCEPTION. All family members and dogs must be present at the meet.
Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!
