My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact the Cat Team (catapplications@graspinc.org) for more information about this pet.

DOB:  06/10/15

Hi, my name is Mr. Xavier. I’m 9 years old, but a kitten at heart. My foster mom describes me as both playful and affectionate. I can be shy at first, but with time I will come around with purrs, cuddles and kisses. I enjoy the simple things in life, like laying in the sun, eating slowly, and playing with my toys. I don’t jump much, so I'd really love cat trees that have easy access to the floor, either by ramp or platform. I also like getting treats and looking out the window.

I can be sensitive to fast movements and loud noises, so a quiet, calm environment would be ideal. I’m not familiar with being around dogs, but I do well with other cats and children, especially if they’re older.

More about this rescue

G.R.A.S.P. stands for Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets. GRASP's goal is to give animals, primarily those picked up by Greece Animal Control, a second chance for a safe, happy, and healthy life. Before G.R.A.S.P., Inc. was formed, animals that were not claimed by their owners were routinely euthanized. We also strive to educate the public on the benefits of spay/neuter and the need to tag their pets at all times. G.R.A.S.P., Inc. is a non-profit organization and is completely dependent upon donations from the public.
