My name is Upwind!

Hello, I'm Upwind! I'm a beautiful brown and gray ticked tabby, born around July 5, 2020. Life has been a bit of an adventure for me--I came to Wild Blue when I was pregnant, and after raising my six sweet kittens, I'm now ready to find a forever home where I can settle down and share all the love I've got stored up. I'm a gentle and kind soul, with a reserved nature that might make me seem a little shy at first. But once I get to know you, I'll show you just how affectionate I can be. I love to rub against legs to say hello, and there's nothing better than a full-body rub or a cheek scratch. I'm also a big fan of cuddles and enjoy being held--it makes me feel safe and loved. I do enjoy having my own quiet little space where I can relax and take a cat nap. I've done well around kids, especially those who are a bit older (around 10 years old), who understand how to be gentle with me. I am ok with the other cats in the sanctuary, as long as we give each other some space. If you have gentle pets at home, a slow and gradual introduction following Wild Blue's advice is recommended and will make for a smooth transition. If you're looking for a sweet companion who will shower you with quiet affection, I might just be the perfect fit for your home.
