My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Great Victoria is a lovely grey and white DSH female cat, born approximately 5/28/22, who is still learning to trust the world around her. After arriving at Wild Blue Cats! from another rescue in New Mexico where she gave birth to her kittens, she spent time in a foster home caring for her kittens and slowly started coming out of her shell. Great Victoria is shy, and at times a little nervous, especially when meeting new people or in a busy environment. She prefers gentleness when you first approach, and her foster family has found that once they start petting her, she melts into a relaxed state, even rolling over for belly rubs. She thoroughly enjoys attention but prefers her interactions to be one-on-one and with a lot of tenderness. You know she is enjoying her petting and brushing when her kneading is continuous and her purrs endless. She's still working on becoming comfortable with being held, but she's perfectly happy to sit with you once she feels safe and may climb on your lap. Great Victoria does well with other cats and is okay with gentle teenagers, making her adaptable in the right environment. Her ideal home would be calm and without a lot of change or loud noises, where she can take her time getting comfortable. A patient and understanding family, who will give her a small, secure space to begin with, will be rewarded with her gentle nature and eventual blossoming into a loving companion. She adores cozy spots, especially small boxes or soft blankets, where she can curl up and observe her surroundings. Could you be that special someone to help her come out of her shell and show her what it means to be truly safe and loved? If you're ready to give this sweet girl the forever home she deserves, please visit www.wbcats.org/adopt to fill out an application. Let's make her dream of a forever home come true!October 29, 2024, 12:02 am
