This helps Paws in Middle Georgia Animal Rescue with pet care costs.
***Manon (along with Dove, Topher, and Kara) can also be seen and met at Paws Awhile Cat Café in Perry by making a reservation***
Meet Manon (Muh-non).
This boy lived in the streets. He was fortunate enough that he found an angel willing to provide him food and shelter. Unfortunately, that angel was moving out of state and she concerned no one else would provide for this boy. Paws agreed to take him in.
Manon had glaucoma and an ulcer in his left eye. His vision was limited on that side, and he required eye drops for the rest of his life. Due to his condition and the pain he was in, the decision was easily made that Manon would become a "winky" (one eyed cat). He did fabulous through surgery and recovery. Now, he barely even knows there's anything unique about him.
Manon is really sweet. Since arriving at Paws, he has been very chill. He's enjoyed living in a "house" again. Volunteers normally find him curled up on a bed or snoozing in a cat cave. He's also been fairly quiet.
Manon has done well being around other kitties. We always do slow introductions to ensure harmony. It may take him a little bit, but Manon has warmed up well to any cats that have roomed with him. He's somehow been passed over time and again, while he's watched his roommates get adopted. At the cat cafe, he'll be reunited with one of his old roommates, Dove.
We'd love this boy to find a furever home. He's gone without the joy of a family for far to long.
Apply today to come meet Manon (if you didn't meet him at the Cafe) so you can provide the luxuries of life this winky deserves.
