My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hope!

When Hope's mom and dad separated, neither of them were able to take care of her, leaving Hope in need of a new loving home. Hope is a special needs dog, being both blind and hearing impaired. When she first came to us, adjusting to a new places and people at this stage of her life was clearly overwhelming. Our hearts ached for this sweet girl.

Fortunately, Hope was chosen to go on a two-week Frosted Fling with an experienced foster family. They have extended their time with her because she is doing so much better in a home environment. Her Fling Family reports:

"Sweet Hope may not be able to see, but she finds the most magical bed in the house, and we are absolutely spellbound by this precious little creature. Whenever we bring home a new bed she finds it right away and tries it out like Goldilocks!

* We find her very easy to love and care for.
* She never makes a peep, has a good appetite, and co-exists peacefully with our dogs and cat.
* She loves sniffing around outside for about 15 minutes at a time.
* When we go to pick her up, she does the cutest leap towards our hands.
* She spends about 90% of the time sleeping.
* She doesn't enjoy her eye meds. but we've developed a low stress method.
* She's not one to seek out attention, but she does enjoy being cuddled in our arms.
* She goes potty as soon as we carry her outside.
* She will use potty pads if available.
* She does often urinate in her sleep. For us that's no biggie. It's just a little extra laundry and she's good about being washed off.

Hope is considered hospice due to several health conditions and just needs someone to love her because she deserves it."

Hope is a gentle soul who needs a patient and understanding person who can meet her needs with compassion and care. Might that be you?
