My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Terrier Mix that has the soul of a puppy but can be the perfect guard dog for a home. Atticus came from a home with his brother Saivyer and multiple dogs but can be selective towards others. This boy has a sweet heart and can be misunderstood sometimes. He hates to be alone; he would rather have a hooman around. Atticus needs a home where he will have an active owner and can have separation anxiety if not worked with. Meet and greats are necessary and encouraged when adopting into a home with house mates. Atticus loves toys and going on walks but will need a handler that can handle his strength. He will be fully vetted upon adoption. If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is made up of two parts. Upon a decision to adopt an animal we require an application for adoption that asks questions such as housing and veterinary references. We then check references and may require a home visit. Upon approval you will fill out a contract for adoption and pay the adoption fees. Adoption fees are based on age and vetting required.
