Mouse and his buddy Furby are very bonded, so they will be adopted together.
Furby is the most loving. Sometimes he just sits near you, staring at your face, waiting for you to pick him up and give him kisses and cuddles. He the first one on your lap.
Mouse on the other hand is very adventurous and doesn’t slow down because he’s too busy checking out any new thing he spotted in the area. He is also very sweet and loves to be hugged, petted and loved on but he doesn’t stay with you long because he’s way too busy.
They love playing with each other.
They’re both fine with my three little dogs, but understandably are a little bit intimidated by the big dogs. Needless to say I do not let them around the big dogs because they are over boisterous and clumsy and afraid they’ll get hurt.

Adoption fee $100 for adult ( over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for Fiv/FELV, microchipped, have received age-appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first serve. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home.
Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all-volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet.
Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend. It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats while also making your life easier.
In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Please fill out an application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.
