Best Guess for Age:10 months as of 6/14/24 SEX: Male
Approximate Weight:44 lbs as of 8/13/24- he is likely still growing
Gets Along With: Buddie does well with other dogs and needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog. We do not recommend him for a home with cats.
Special adoption considerations: Because Buddie is shy, he needs to go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog. We would be cautious placing Buddie in a home with children under 12 years old because young kids can often scare shy dogs with their level of energy or noise. Children would need to be supervised closely to not leave doors open and should never walk the dog without an adult holding the leash. We would be happy to discuss this more in depth with any applicant.

What My Foster Says About Me: Buddie is well socialized and he is a great dog! He loves to play with toys, he's quiet in the crate, and he's super friendly! He's still a puppy but takes cues well from larger dogs as they help teach him how to 'dog.' He's going to be a great addition to his forever family!

The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!
