Meet Alice!
Alice and her 4 siblings are 5 weeks old (as of July 17th). They unfortunately found themselves without a mother, when she was hit by a car and passed away.
The pups are safe with one of our wonderful fosters and they are growing well and are now in good shape. They eat, play, sleep, and repeat all day long and they are just so adorable and hilarious.
We are told that mom was a Chihuahua mix, and of course we can't know who their dad was. The pups are teeny tiny and will likely not grow bigger than about 12-15 lbs full grown (and that is a generous estimate).
They are cute temperaments and in order to grow up to be lovely adults, they will need careful training and proper socialization. Due to their tiny size, we will not place these pups with families who have very young children. Kids over 8 years old is best for them.
The puppies will be ready for meet and greets at 7 weeks of age. They will be ready to go to their forever homes at 8 -9 weeks of age. At that time they will have received their first puppy vaccinations, deworming and microchip. Their adoption fee is $525, which includes the cost of spay/neuter when they are old enough. We prefer to spay/neuter between 8-12 month of age and adopters will sign a contract to follow up on this procedure.
If you are interested in meeting one of the puppies, please submit an application via our website savinggreatanimals.org. We review applications in the order they are received.
