For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Chewy and RCA are sweet 10-month-old boys whose mom was an Aussie and Dad was a Jack Russell Terrier X. These boys have not been socialized and have lived solely outside. They are both shy but warm up very quickly. The shelter life is very scary and overwhelming for them, and they would do well in foster homes. If you have space in your home and heart to help these boys out, you would be a lifesaver! They are not bonded and would do well in separate homes. Chewy has the longer Aussie-type hair, while RCA has a shorter, JRT coat. These boys will make amazing family members once they learn the ropes of being in their new homes. RCA enjoys playing with his buddy Molly, and has done so well learning how to walk nicely on a leash. This boy is super smart! He likes to chase toys, but hasn't figured out how to bring them back yet.
“I come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy’s team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle me into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).”
