My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What makes me super? I'm energetic, playful, and social

My preferred sidekicks are tweens, my brother Duke, and calm dogs

King Candy is the ruler of all things sweet and good in his foster home. He is SUPER energetic and needs a playmate his age and energy level to keep up with him. He is affectionate and social with strangers, but is very playful and sometimes nips fingers and toes to get attention. King can be adopted with his brother Duke of Swirl or to a home with a similarly aged and active cat. He would do best with people who won't use their hands as toys.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We provide private in home fostering and do not allow visitors at our homes with an approved application, interview, and confirmed appointment made by the CEO.

We partner with our local, family owned businesses and events, but a majority of our adoptions are done from the comfort of your home.

More about this rescue

We work hard to educate the community about why spaying and neutering is important. We only take cats that are non adoptable in shelters which includes feral, abused, abandoned, and traumatized cats and kittens. We heal them inside and out using positive reinforcement and force free techniques. Last, we provide assistance to low income families to help them fix their pets, provide food to feral cat colony managers, and sponsor adoption fees for those who need a pet and can afford their care but not an additional fee.
