My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hot Wheels is the most unique, stubborn and silly boy. He was rescued after he was witnessed being hit by a car. He recovered from a broken pelvis, but did sustain injuries to his head which caused long lasting brain injury.

Hot Wheels is still continuing to make progress with his brain development, and is currently learning light commands. He will need a dedicated adopter who is willing to continue teaching him that the world is a kind and gentle place.

Due to his injuries, Hot Wheels would benefit best in a low energy home without dogs (although he might do ok with other special needs dogs). He is good around cats, but should not be around small children. The head trauma he experienced lowers his ability to understand when he is in danger or not, and has impacted his vision.

Hot Wheels loves peanut butter snacks, classical and jazz music, predictability and routine. He loves being scratched on the chest and reminded that he's the biggest baby puppy. Hot Wheels is very special and is looking for an experienced forever home that will love him and all his quirks.

Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines to date of adoption, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health.
