Meet Brisket, also known as Barnacle, Brisk or Barney! This lovable 24-pound "tall pug" is between 6 and 10 years old and ready to snuggle his way into your heart. 🥰
Brisket is the ultimate cuddle bug—he's so devoted that he's earned the title of "Velcro dog." Wherever you go, he'll be right by your side. He's got a few quirks too! He snores while sleeping on his back and might take a few tries to figure out where your voice is coming from, but that just adds to his charm.
When it comes to walks, Brisket is a superstar on familiar routes. His eyesight isn't the best, so you may need to guide him when he's in new territory. He's a fan of stopping for sniffs and the occasional "air pee," so expect some leisurely strolls!
Brisket is fully house-trained with no accidents or destruction, and while he's not a fan of being gated off from you, he'll nap peacefully in an open kennel. He's playful with dogs his size and does great with kids, though his dewclaws can sometimes scratch as he can be unaware of his surroundings at times.
This low-key pup loves treats (sliced hot dogs are his favorite!) but isn't too interested in toys yet—except for dragging and shaking his dog bed for fun. He's not big on heights, and eye drops aren't his favorite, but who could resist that sweet, squishy face?
Brisket hasn't been tested with cats or other animals, so that's something to explore. If you're looking for a snuggly, easygoing companion, Brisket is your guy!
