My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mr. Bighead is in his most fragile age - adolescence. He thrives with routine, and is slowly gaining confidence - for example doesn't know how to work his doggy-door.

Since Mr. Bighead is a mastiff, he comes with extra drool and slobber! He does know some basic commands - like sit and leave it - and is eager to learn if food is involved! He loves his snacks and cuddle sessions, but also really loves to play outside, play fetch, and run in the yard. He walks well on an easy-walk harness, loves a lick mat, and will give you kisses endlessly. He's affectionate and is often described as a gentle giant.

He will fit into any robust household where he is able to be a big, clumsy boy. He someone who is not only knowledgable of his breed, but also dedicated to his positive reinforcement training. Mastiffs are oftentimes stubborn and take time to adjust, learn, and warm up to those around them. Fang needs patience, understanding, and commitment. Kids 14 and up are okay, but please no physically fragile household members.

Adoption is $275. Mr. Bighead is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
