My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wellington recently joined us from a local shelter, and we are still getting to know him. Wellington is a 3-year-old Chow Chow who displays some typical Chow behavior. He has been described as a calm and observant guy. He loves hellos but he does get filled up with the attention, at which point he is happy being independent and doing his own thing. He is not a velcro dog and often prefers to observe rather than actively engage.

Some of Wellington’s favorite activities include: being outside, sniffing, exploring, observing, and dog-watching! He also loves mealtime and is very food-motivated (though he does not have the same enthusiasm for treats). When it is mealtime, he will do a little dance and wag his tail with excitement.

Wellington has an easygoing attitude towards other dogs. His interactions have been non-reactive and he seems generally indifferent to most dogs. He would likely do fine with doggy siblings or as an only dog.

**Wellington is located in Magnolia, TX. Paid transport can be arranged. Transport costs range from $200-400.**
