My name is Chanel!

Chanel has presented as independent as evidenced by not requiring being kept in any enclosure during the day. She has an automatic litter box which works well when you travel. She likes to signal a need for rubs by head butting you. This may also mean pick me up and cuddle. She understands “no”, “sit down”, “yes”, “time to eat” and “goodbye”. When I say, “I’m leaving Chanel”, she typically approaches for a rub before I leave. When scared or frightened she will retreat. She understand that the kitchen area is off limits. She typically sits or stands to watch me each morning in in the bathroom as I get ready. This may occur during baths as well. If she is hungry then expect her to meow otherwise she’s pretty quiet. Anytime you are washing dishes or loading the dishwasher, she will come and sit across the perimeter area and watch or perceive this as snack or food being prepared. She shuffling of forks (utensils) usually elicits her to head to her treehouse or scratcher to scratch.
