Meet Blue! This friendly and playful dog was found as a stray. He's about 2 years old, dog-friendly, kid-friendly, and people-friendly. Blue has good leash skills, loves to play in water, and enjoys going on walks.
- Dog-friendly
- Kid-friendly
- Loves water
- Housebroken
- Good leash skills
- Active and loves to play, but not overly active
He is the best boy and one of those dogs that connect to your soul. I will admit the car ride had him a little anxious. When we got to house and took him outside, he changed. He is very playful and inquisitive. He is potty trained and doesn't mind his crate at all. Interesting thing is that he has yet to bark. He is also kid friendly and he loves butt rubs from my 14-yr old son. Last thing, he is the first dog I have ever had that likes the water. He jumped in yesterday and swam around the pool.
I think he not only has some "pitbull type" in him, I think he has either husky or GS also. When he stands, his back half of body looks exactly like a GS.
His eyes are stunning!!!
All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.
