My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Moka is a young female tabby and white, with an adorable little brown nose! She is the sister of Cannoli and Biscotti. She's rather shy at first, and can easily be frightened by sudden movements towards her. With patience and love, she opens up and becomes very cuddly: she loves rubbing her little muzzle against hands, and wants to keep going until ... she never wants to stop, in fact! For this reason, Moka will be more at ease in a home with one or two people, who will be able to avoid sudden movements at first, so that she can acclimatize. She gets on very well with the various cats she's met in foster care, so would do very well in a home where another feline companion is already present. Finally, she's very clean and eats reasonably without needing to be controlled (full bowl at all times with no problem). Moka is an adult cat therefore the adoption fees for her are $290. She is sterilized, vaccinated and microchipped. She is not tested for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and feline leukemia (FeLV) but her sister Cannoli is negative for both viruses. You will also be provided with health insurances for the first 6 weeks following adoption. You will also have access to the support of the adoption team for as long as you need it. You will also have access to a free 30 minutes video consultation during the first month following the adoption with our cat behaviour consultant FelineGood ( https://www.felinegood.ca ).

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All new adoption homes are carefully screened to determine if they are suitable. There is an adoption fee that includes the sterilization, initial vaccination of every animal, testing for FIV and FeLV of all cats at the shelter, and a 21 days trial period. A contract is always signed between the ARN and the adopter for their protection. A follow-up by an ARN adoption coordinator is often done either by telephone or by visit, and we also offer help/cousel for the life of the cat.
