Armand is a unique young dog who is a great companion! He is playful and loves to play tug, chase balls and go on sniffy walks, but also has an OFF switch and loves to just chill with his people. He is VERY social, loves people, and would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time who can help him learn how to be on his own. His last foster had a teenage daughter and he did very well with her.
He has extreme separation anxiety when left alone and has been destructive when left along, but he is receiving professional training to help him work through this and to be able to crate calmly. They will also guide his owner or foster ensure a good transition to his new home.
He also comes with many toys - which he loves to play with - and a reinforced crate for him to learn how to crate safely in. He may do well in a home with another medium or large dog which could help with the separation anxiety, but that would need to be assessed. He has not shown any reactivity on leash or with other dogs in general. It is not known how he would do with other small animals at this time.
Despite his robust build, Armand possesses a gentle and trainable demeanor, particularly when enticed by treats and toys. This responsiveness to positive reinforcement highlights his eagerness to learn and adapt, suggesting that with proper guidance and encouragement, he can overcome any challenges. Armand's repertoire of commands, including sit, shake, come, and place, further attests to his intelligence and willingness to engage with his human counterparts. Come and meet Armand, the delightful and trainable dog who is eager to embark on a new journey filled with love, companionship, and endless adventures. He is about 2 years old, and weighs 65 lbs.

We have an application process, a yard check, a meet and greet with any existing animals, and a contract. Our adoption fees are anywhere from $150 - $300 depending on the age of the animal and the amount of medical treatment we provided for the animal prior to going up for adoption. We also have a Senior for Seniors program where we offer a significant discount to any senior citizen wishing to adopt a dog or cat over the age of 7.
We serve Las Vegas, Nevada and Henderson, Nevada. We may adopt to a neighboring state, however we do not transport our animals. The adopter must come to Las Vegas to meet the animal prior to adoption.
