Dog's Name: Babe Chase (CHA0824ALAMD)
Estimated Breed: Hound mix
Approximate Age: DOB 6/17/24
Approximate Weight: 8 LBS
Currently Living at: Foster
Adoption Fee: $500
DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Babe Chase! Chase and his three siblings (Shorty, Fifi and Sugar) came to us from an overcrowded shelter in Alabama. Sweet Chase has landed himself a nice foster home, but what he really wants is to find his forever home. Could that be with you? Chase is your typical puppy. He is very friendly, outgoing, and playful. At his young age, Chase is in his prime for training and socialization too. He will make a wonderful addition to an active home. Fill out an application today and meet Chase – you're not just getting a pet; you're giving a second chance to a deserving boy!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
