Sushi is a sweet little hamster with a big story. She was one of over 200 hamsters in an extreme hoarding situation where mixed sexes were crammed into bins with 60+ hamsters each. These poor hamsters were having endless litters, but fortunately, Sushi and her 14 sisters were among the younger ones, and they escaped the cycle of endless pregnancies.

At about 3-4 months old, Sushi is now ready to find her forever home. However, her early experiences have made her a bit shy and unsure around people. Sushi’s personality is still developing, and she needs a patient, understanding adopter who is willing to put in the time to help her feel safe and loved.

Sushi isn’t just any hamster—she’s a brave little girl who deserves a second chance. We’re looking for a true hero, someone who’s ready to make the most difference in her life. Because of their challenging past, Sushi and her sisters are at risk of spending their lives in rescue, but we know they can thrive in a loving family environment with the right care and attention.
