My name is Bronson and I am a 7-year old Chihuahua mix weighing in at a perfect 17 lbs.
I'm a fun-loving boy who is always ready to play fetch and go for walks. You should see me run when I get the zoomies…… there's no catching me! And I love getting onto my back and squirming around (an ideal opportunity for you to give me belly scratches!). Oh yeah, I should also tell you that I am a clothes thief, so you'll have to remember not to leave any laying around and make sure the clothes hamper is out of reach😂😁
I love being with my people and I am happiest when we are together. Whether that is snuggling, playing, out for a walk or a car ride. Although I would prefer not to go into my kennel, I am good at going in as long as you offer a treat. I am very quiet and calm and settle easily. I am house trained, and love having a fenced yard to explore and yes, to mark my territory and let everyone know this is mine!!!
I will do best in a home with no children, the small humans freak me out and make me super nervous. I have been in a foster home with an indoor cat and we got along just fine. Mostly we just ignored each other. I am OK with small dogs , when I am not on a leash and when I am in my own home. When out on walks, I tend to be vocal to other dogs and humans.
I am a very smart boy and since arriving, I have learned a lot. I am learning some basic commands and catch on pretty darn quick! I am anxious to learn and to please my people 🐶🥇
I'm looking for a forever family who will be patient , and have the desire to help me become an even better pup than I already am. Someone with experience who can teach me that I don't have to be so territorial over everything. To show me that people are good and that I don't need to be fearful and protective .
