I’m Emery, a 6-year-old Jindo/Pungsan mix with a soft white coat and a heart full of love. I’ve been waiting for my forever home since I was rescued from a kill shelter in 2019, and I’m so ready to find a place where I can finally settle in and be part of a loving family. 💖
Why I’m the Perfect Companion:
• Affectionate & Friendly: I’m the kind of dog who loves to be close to people. I’ll happily rub against you and let you pet me from the moment we meet. And guess what? I’m great with kids! I love taking snacks from little hands and will always be gentle. 🍪
• Calm & Relaxed: If you’re looking for a laid-back companion, that’s me! I enjoy resting quietly and have a low energy level, making me the perfect couch buddy for those cozy nights in. 🛋️
• Great on Walks: I’ve got plenty of walking experience and follow along nicely without pulling. I love to explore, but I always keep my focus on my person, even if there’s a cat nearby. 🐾
• Polite & Quiet: I’m not one to make a fuss. I hardly ever bark, and I’m calm when put in a kennel. You can count on me to be well-mannered and easygoing, whether we’re at home or out and about. 🐶
• People & Pet Friendly: I’m not interested in guarding my food and I’m always polite around other dogs. I greet them with a wag, even if I’m not much of a player. And don’t worry if you have a cat—I’m cool with them, too! 🐕

• Settling In: I’ve been in a shelter for a while, so it might take me a little time to adjust to a new home. But don’t worry—I’m very people-friendly and food-motivated, so I’ll get comfortable with you quickly. 🏠
• Outdoor Potty Pro: I’m really good about doing my business outside. I might mark my territory in a new place, but with some patience, I’ll learn the routine and settle in nicely. 🌳
• Kid-Approved: If you have children under 13, I’m their new best friend! I’m gentle and welcoming, and I can’t wait to share my love with the whole family. 👧👦
