Rosie is a 3.5-year-old Boxer/Terrier mix who has been through more than most dogs should ever have to face. At 40 pounds, this sweet girl is a true survivor. She raised ten puppies under very difficult circumstances, sadly losing two of them along the way. Despite everything she's been through, Rosie is still full of love and hope, and she's now ready to find a home where she can finally feel safe and cherished.
Rosie is gentle and affectionate, but she's a little shy and takes time to trust new people. When she first arrived with us, she was afraid of even walking through doorways, probably because she had never known what it was like to be in a home. Though she's made great progress, loud noises still startle her, and she'll often seek out a quiet spot to hide. She would do best in a calm, peaceful home where her new family can give her the time and patience she needs to feel secure.
Rosie is nearing the end of her heartworm treatment and is already showing signs of recovery. With just a little more time and care, she will be back to full health, ready to enjoy the life she truly deserves.

Adoption Requirements:
- Applicants must be at least 21 years old
- Complete an application at www.allpawsondeck.org
- All current pets must be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on
vaccinations
- If adopting a pet that is not yet altered, a $100 deposit will be required at the time of adoption. This deposit will be refunded upon proof of spay or neuter.

- Adoption pickups are in Connecticut
- Massachusetts residents cannot be adopted due to state laws
