Who doesn’t love a doodle?? Teddy is a neutered poodle mix (probably with terrier) that is full of energy and silliness. At around 2 years old and 15 pounds, he loves a basket of stuffed squeaky toys, walks in the park, and rides in the car. Teddy still acts like a puppy and can be mouthy, so we do not recommend young children, however he loves ALL people and gets along with other dogs (unless they are trying to steal his food). Teddy prefers playing with dogs his size and energy level. He can be a bit overwhelming for senior dogs though. Teddy is mostly house trained with a dog door. When Teddy first came in to rescue, he had a severe skin infection from untreated allergies. He will need to remain on Apoquel to prevent further issues, as well as be given medicated baths and ear cleanings once or twice a week. Our vet also recommends a hypoallergenic diet. As happy and easy going as Teddy is, he does have some separation anxiety and tends to be very loud; therefore, apartments will not work. He has a prey drive, so no cats, birds, or other critters should be in the home.
