My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Yahtzee: The Sweet Sidekick with a Heart of Gold!

Introducing Yahtzee, a delightful grey pit bull with striking brown eyes and adorable floppy ears, whose story of resilience and sweetness will capture your heart. Found living in an abandoned home during the cold winter months alongside her canine family, Yahtzee’s journey from survival to thriving is nothing short of inspiring.

What Makes Yahtzee Special?
Yahtzee is the epitome of sweetness and loyalty. This charming girl is not just a pet; she’s a companion, ready to be by your side as your devoted sidekick. Her laid-back and chill demeanor makes her a perfect match for someone looking for a relaxed and affectionate friend.

A Love for Comfort and Adventure:
Yahtzee adores snuggling and finds joy in the simple pleasures of life, like cozying up for movie nights or basking in the sun on lazy afternoons. However, her love for adventure means she’s always ready for a car ride or a new exploration, making her a wonderful travel companion for all your adventures, big and small.

Well-Mannered and Sociable:
Fully potty trained and proficient in basic commands, Yahtzee is a dream to have around the house. She walks beautifully on a leash, adding to the ease of taking her out and about. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she flourishes with a proper introduction, showing her polite and friendly nature.

Ideal Home for Yahtzee:
Yahtzee would thrive in a home that loves a balance of relaxation and adventure. She does well with older children who can appreciate her calm energy and contribute to her sense of security and happiness. A family that can offer her plenty of love, gentle interactions, and the occasional adventure would be perfect for this sweet girl.

Why Adopt Yahtzee?
Adopting Yahtzee means welcoming a soulful companion who will enrich your life with loyalty, love, and lots of tail wags. She’s ready to give back all the love she receives and more, promising to be a faithful friend through thick and thin.

Ready to give Yahtzee the loving home she deserves?
She’s waiting to fill your life with joy, companionship, and plenty of cuddles.

Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home and we want our adopters to be prepared for that!
