My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Daffodil: A Blossoming Beauty Ready to Light Up Your Life!

Daffodil’s story is one of courage and transformation. This brave young mama endured harsh conditions, surviving outside in a snowy Detroit winter while caring for her 10 puppies. Now, having regained her strength and spirit, Daffodil is ready to find a forever family that will cherish her as much as she deserves.

What Makes Daffodil Special?
Emerging from hardship with grace, Daffodil is rediscovering what it means to be a puppy herself. She’s a bright, attentive girl who thrives on affection and loves being the center of attention. With her eagerness to learn and extreme food motivation, Daffodil has quickly picked up new skills and is excited to continue her training journey.

A Love for Learning:
Daffodil has shown remarkable progress in her training. She’s fully potty and crate trained, walks beautifully on a leash without pulling, and has a genuine enthusiasm for learning more. Her intelligence and willingness to please make her a joy to teach and bond with.

Gentle and Loving Companion:
Daffodil is wonderful with other dogs and children, showing a gentle disposition that makes her a perfect family pet. While she is still building her confidence and sometimes gets nervous around loud noises or sudden movements, she’s learning to trust and overcome her fears with the support of her loving caregivers.

Ideal Home for Daffodil:
Daffodil would thrive in a loving, patient home that can provide the stability and attention she needs to fully blossom. A family committed to continuing her training, offering reassurance and lots of cuddles, would be ideal for helping Daffodil feel secure and loved.

Why Adopt Daffodil?
Adopting Daffodil means giving a second chance to a dog who’s proven her resilience and capacity for love. She promises to be a devoted and affectionate companion, ready to fill your home with joy and gratitude.

Ready to Watch Daffodil Blossom?
If you're looking for a playful and snuggly fur baby, look no further. Daffodil is ready to blossom into the beautiful flower she was always meant to be, right in the comfort of your loving home.

Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home and we want our adopters to be prepared for that!
