My name is Olivia!

Olivia was adopted from the shelter in February 2022. She turned 2 in December, 2024. At the shelter, she was listed as a Beagle mix and may be a beagle and jack Russell terrier cross.

Olivia needs an experienced owner and preferably an owner familiar with Jack Russell/terrier dogs. Olivia needs an owner that can be calm and consistent in her training and in her aggression related to resource guarding behavior. Olivia has had bite incidents, but there have been no bites since November 2023.

Olivia is a sweet dog who loves snuggling and attention. She is smart and learns quickly. She rides great in the car. She is calm and content at home during the work day confined to the bedroom with a baby gate up and has never been destructive when left alone.

Olivia would thrive with an active owner and adults only household. She is hit or miss with other dogs, but has played well in the past with large dogs and seems to get along well with small male dogs.
