Looking Glass Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) virtual rescue, using a network of dedicated fosters throughout Louisiana and the Northeast to care for our animals until adoption. You may be required to travel if approved for adoption.

Meet Waffles! Waffles is the mom to several of our black lab puppies. Sadly she was dumped with her puppies and was found caring for some additional puppies as well - just a really good momma dog! Waffles was so relieved to be rescued and is now being cared for by one of our favorite fosters, being brought up to date on her veterinary care and learning what it's like to be in a loving home with family and other dogs. Waffles is a classic black lab, likely a mix as most are, but with classic black lab traits - happy, easy, friendly, and moderately active. Waffles is approximately 3 years of age according to our veterinary partner in the area. Waffles would like to find a family or companion who would spend time walking, maybe hiking, maybe some backyard playtime, then relaxing, eating, and enjoying time together, maybe at your feet or right next to you. As with all new pets, Waffles will need time to adjust to her new home and environment, and any other furry friends who may already be apart of her new household.
