My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Googoosh: The Sweet Survivor with a Heart of Gold!

From a precarious beginning to a hopeful future, Mama Googoosh’s resilience is inspiring. This intelligent and nurturing mama bear not only survived but thrived, raising her puppies in a collapsed garage/pile of debris and wood until rescue arrived. Now that her puppies are finding their own families, it's Googoosh’s turn to find the love and security she deserves.

What Makes Googoosh Special?

Googoosh is a testament to the power of motherly love and the strength of spirit. At 3 to 4 years old, she has a gentle and quiet demeanor, accompanied by an incredible sweetness that she shares with everyone she meets. She’s not just a survivor; she’s a beacon of hope and love.

A Love for Stuffed Animals:
One of the most endearing traits of Mama Googoosh is her love for stuffed animals. She carries them EVERYWHERE—on walks, around the house, and they even accompany her to bed. These stuffed animals were her comfort in times of uncertainty, and they continue to be her solace in her foster home.

Perfectly Mannered Companion:
Googoosh is fully potty trained and walks gracefully on a leash without pulling. She’s a fantastic listener and responds well to commands, making her not only easy to care for but also a pleasure to spend time with.

Shy But Loving:
While she may be shy when meeting new people, once she feels safe, Googoosh blossoms into a loving companion who is eager to show her affection. She’s great with dogs and children of all ages and sizes, making her an ideal addition to any family looking for a gentle and loving pet.

Ideal Home for Googoosh:
Googoosh would thrive in a calm, nurturing environment where she can feel secure and loved. A family that can give her the patience to open up at her own pace will be rewarded with her heartfelt affection and loyal companionship.

Why Adopt Googoosh?
Adopting Googoosh means giving a hero the happily ever after she’s earned. You’ll not only be gaining a pet—you’ll be welcoming a family member who brings a profound depth of love and gratitude.

Ready to give Mama Googoosh the forever home she deserves? Let her steal your heart and fill your home with joy and gentle affection.

Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home and we want our adopters to be prepared for that!
