Meet sweet Miss Independent, also known as Missy! She is an incredibly loving girl who was born in a mobile home park. Towards the end of June, she and two other kittens were turned into a local vet office and then went to foster care. During her time at the vet office and in foster care, Missy was the youngest, and smallest in her group of 6 kittens. Even though she was only about a month old, she was very self-assured and stood up to the larger kittens. Because of that she earned the name Miss Independent. As the older kittens got adopted, Missy took over her rightful place as the alpha in the room (even though she was still the smallest)! She loves playing with all of her foster siblings and always meets her foster mom at the door. She will sit on her foster parents’ lap for a few minutes before she takes off on another adventure. She did well with dogs at her first foster home and should do well with cat-savvy children with proper introductions. All current pets must be fixed and up-to-date on vaccines. Due to her age and activity level, she needs to be adopted with another kitten, or by a family who already has an appropriate companion cat. Her dream is to be adopted with one of her foster siblings: Hawthorne, Violet, Rose, Daffodil, Lily or her brother, Peabody.

Miss Independent is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and has been treated for parasites. Her adoption fee is $125 or $200 with a sibling. Do you have the purrfect home for this cute girl?
