Meet beautiful Rose! Her long ear hair, fluffy tail, and fur growing in between her toes (grinch toes) means her super soft fur may get fluffier as she gets older. She and her siblings spent their first several weeks with their mom, 7 other cats, and a puppy in squalid conditions in a home. At the beginning of May, they were taken to a foster home where they received the loving care they needed. Rose is an extremely loving kitten with her brother and sisters, foster siblings, and her foster parents. Oftentimes, she will flop when she sees her foster parents, making sure they will give her pets. Like her siblings, she is a lap snuggler. Rose would do well with other cat-savvy pets and children with proper introductions. All current pets must be fixed and up-to-date on vaccines. Due to her age and activity level, she needs to be adopted with another kitten, or by a family who already has an appropriate companion cat. Her dream is to be adopted with one of her siblings: Hawthorne, Lily, Daffodil, Violet or foster siblings: Miss Independent or Peabody.

Rose is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and has been treated for parasites. Her adoption fee is $125 or $200 with a sibling. Do you have the purrfect home for this cute girl?

If your application is approved, one of our board members will contact you for a phone interview.

3.
Meet the Pet

During your phone interview, we will work on setting up a date/time for you to meet your new family member at the Petsmart in Troy.

Additional adoption info

* We do require adopters to be at least 21 years old.
* If you are leasing, we do ask that you provide a copy of your rental agreement showing that cats are allowed.
* We also ask that all adults living in the home agree with the adoption and addition of a feline friend to the family.
* For families with young children (under 6), kittens over 6 months are best.
* If the pet is to be alone for a significant amount of time, we ask that you consider adopting an older kitten or adult, or consider adopting two kittens to keep each other company. Young kittens are susceptible to social-depression if alone for a significant amount of time.
* We also discourage "gift" adoptions unless it is from a parent to a minor child.

Our adoption fee of $100 (cash/check) includes feline leukemia/FIV testing, deworming, flea preventative, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines. All Tigerlily cats are thoroughly examined by a veterinarian. All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered prior to being available for adoption.
