My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thurman Munson was a famous catcher for the New York Yankees who won Rookie of the Year. Rookie of the Year is awarded to two outstanding players in the entire league each season. PACC’s Thurman is on our shortlist for our Rookie of the Year, based on his recent volunteer and staff notes!

“First time meeting Thurman and he`s already one of my favorites! He was easy to leash and leave the kennel area and walked well on leash to the yard. Initially he walked around, did his business, stayed independent. After a few minutes he came over for attention and was such a sweet boy. He really loved neck scratches and I also was able to scratch/pet his entire body. He was calm sitting next to me, mouth open, tongue out, soft eyes. He also was very tolerant of his rowdy kennel mate who would bulldoze into him and also interrupt our snuggle sessions. Wonderful dog, I love this boy already!!!”

“I took Thurman out for a quick walk. He was excited to see me approach his kennel. I was able to easily leash him and take him to the park without any issues. He`s interested in smells and was very friendly and receptive to pets when I sat down at a bench. He was easy to leash and handle and enjoys smells.”

In playgroup Thurman was social and tolerant overall and would seek out attention from the handlers in the play yard. He shares his kennel well with another PACC pup. Don’t let the season pass before coming to meet your new MVP- Thurman!
