Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This lovely lady came to us all the way from Kuwait! She's a super-snuggly girl who adores pets and will roll around on the floor at your feet to ask for them. If you don't notice her, she'll follow up with a loud announcement about how very much she would love some cuddles. Her long black fur is gloriously soft, so you will love petting her!
Steel enjoys using her cat scratcher. She also has a fondness for kicking towels. No need to buy kicker toys for her; she'd rather use the towel! Steel especially loves a sunny window or enclosed patio. If you have large potted plants, you might find her curled up napping in the planter!
Steel has lived with other cats. She gets along OK with the nice ones, but would really rather be the star of your show.
Steel suffered some kind of injury in her past that required the amputation of her back right leg. But no worries, it healed perfectly and she gets around just fine. The same injury may have also caused her incontinence so she requires some extra medical care that may include a regulated diet and/or manual expression. For more information, please contact APA!
Steel needs a very special person who can understand her needs and give her the loving care she deserves. She will reward her person many times over with a lifetime supply of purrs and cuddles.
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
For further information or to meet Steel, please email adopt@austinpetsalive.org.
